The ‘Baahubali’ franchise, which was born out of the combination of S.S. Rajamouli and Prabhas, has changed the face of Indian cinema. This wonderful historical film which came in two parts is now re-releasing in big formats on October 31, 2025 as ‘Baahubali: The Epic’. The audience is waiting for this re-release.


For the past few days there were speculations in the film industry that there will be an official announcement of ‘Baahubali 3’ in ‘Baahubali: The Epic’. This news has created huge expectations among the fans.

In this context, the producer of this franchise Shobhu Yarlagadda has completely dismissed these rumors. In a recent interview he said, “There will be no ‘Baahubali 3’ announcement. We may have another surprise but it won’t be ‘Baahubali 3’. There is still a lot of work to be done for the third part.”


Shobhu Yarlagadda further said, “We have many stories to tell from the Baahubali world. This re-release is not a one time thing, it’s the beginning of Baahubali Phase 2. We strongly believe there are many more stories to tell from this wonderful world.”

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the release of ‘Baahubali’, Rajamouli’s team has decided to release ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ as a single film combining the two parts with new editing and re-mastered visuals. It is heard that Rajamouli himself is supervising the post-production work of this special version.


Despite no ‘Baahubali 3’ announcement, Shobhu Yarlagadda’s statement that this re-release will lead to more stories in the ‘Baahubali’ world has created new excitement among the audience. Movie fans and audience are now waiting to see what the ‘surprise’ planned by Rajamouli and his team will be.
