We've just got our hands on the new promo track 'Trend Set Chey', from the upcoming fantasy-action flick 'Jatadhara', which stars actor Sudheer Babu of the Navyuga crew. The song is getting a lot of buzz going, especially amongst the youngsters.
You've got your typical upbeat beats, some pretty snazzy visuals & a dash of the movie's star Sudheer Babu's - 'Nava Thalapathy' - cool, stylish swagger all thrown in. Overall the tune adds a fun & peppy twist to what would otherwise be a pretty serious fantasy-action film.
The tune itself is created by Rice & Jain – Sam & it's got that modern sound and non-stop beat to it that really brings out the young side. Lyricist Sri Mani's cleverly thrown in some Telugu words with English phrases in the lyrics making the song a whole lot more relatable to today's audience.

Spoorti Jitender & Rajeev Raj have put their heart & soul into this song with their dynamic voices adding an infectious energy to the whole thing. The video - filmed in the background of a trendy pub - shows Sudheer Babu dancing the night away with actress Shreya Sharma - just showing off his effortless charm & style. With its playfull choreography and foot-stomping rhythm, the song 'Trend Set Chey' really lives up to its name.
Meanwhile, Bollywood siren Sonakshi Sinha is making her debut in Tollywood in this mythological fantasy-action film which's being co-produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora. From what we've already seen in posters and other tracks, it seems that Sonakshi is going to play a pretty powerful & evil role in the movie - and yes she's making her Tollywood debut in a bilingual (Hindi-Telugu) film. The producers are saying that the movie's all about the struggle between good & evil & the clash of human will & destiny.

While the song 'Soul of Jatadhara', which was out a while back, highlights the divine elements of the film & its mythological background, this new track 'Trend Set Chey' really showcases the entertainment value of the film & the hero's stylish side. With these 2 different songs out there - it's pretty clear that 'Jatadhara' is going to be a complete entertainment film.
The movie, directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, is set to release worldwide on 7th November 2025, and it remains to be seen just how much 'Jatadhara' is going to 'set the trend' at the box office.
