Now it is clear that the audience is more attracted towards other films.
Still, "Thug Life" has left its mark in some places. Tamil cinema fans showed a lot of enthusiasm in the beginning, but now that enthusiasm seems to be cooling down. Some people are even calling it Kamal Haasan's biggest flop till date. But, on the other hand, some fans feel that Kamal's acting and Mani Ratnam's vision can still do something amazing.
In the end, one thing has to be accepted that box office numbers are not everything. Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan tried something new in "Thug Life", even if it did not go down well with the audience. If you are still planning to watch it, go to the theatre and watch it. Who knows, you might find something in it that is more valuable than these numbers.
